Refund policy

ORDER CANCELLATION BEFORE PROCESSING

If you change your mind before your order is processed, we accept cancellations. If an order has already been shipped, please refer to the following terms (included in our General Terms and Conditions of Sale)

RETURN, REFUND AND CANCELLATION

The products provided by Univers-Tibet® are new and guaranteed against defects. They are identical to those available in traditional commerce and come from all the publishers and suppliers listed.

1. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with articles L.221-18 and following of the Code of Consumption, the customer has a fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal, starting from the date of receipt or withdrawal of the product(s), to exercise their legal right to withdraw without giving a reason and to inform Univers-Tibet® of their intention to return the product(s).

If the products are subject to the legal right of withdrawal, the customer exercising this right (in accordance with the terms of this article in terms of time and return of goods) will be entitled to a refund of the returned goods.

When the fourteen (14) day period expires on a Saturday, Sunday, public holiday or bank holiday, it is extended to the first working day following.

2. Exercise of the Right of Withdrawal and Return Procedures

You must inform us of your withdrawal in writing, via our website. We will send you an acknowledgment of receipt by email.

To respect the withdrawal period:

  • You must send us your withdrawal notice before the expiration of the 14-day period,
  • The items must not have been used, opened, or damaged,
  • The items must be returned in their original packaging, intact and unused. The packaging must retain its original seal.

The exercise of the right of withdrawal obliges the customer to return or refund the items within 14 days.

In accordance with Article L.221-23 of the Consumer Code, the return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

We will not accept any return shipments with prepayment, regardless of the reason.

3. Verification of Returned Items

Upon receipt of the package sent by the customer, Univers-Tibet® will inspect its contents and verify the condition of the returned items. The refund (or lack thereof) will only be processed by Univers-Tibet® after this inspection.

If we refuse to refund, we will notify you by email (with supporting photos if necessary) of the reasons for our refusal. ### 4. Exception to the right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L. 221-28 paragraph 5 of the Consumer Code, the legal right of withdrawal is excluded in the case of sealed items that have been opened after delivery or that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons.

5. Refund

In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal, Univers-Tibet® is obliged to refund the amounts paid by the customer, free of charge, excluding return shipping costs. The refund will be made within a maximum of 14 business days from the date of receipt of the returned package(s).

The refund will be made by Univers-Tibet®'s payment service provider after confirmation by Univers-Tibet® of the return of the ordered item(s), using the same payment method as that used for the initial transaction.
